could i still be pregnant?

My husband and I have been trying to get pregnant. The past couple of weeks I've had quite a few pregnancy symptoms. I was due to start my period 2 days ago. I took a pregnancy test today and it was negative. :( We are both pretty upset, could there still be a chance that I'm pregnant?

That happened to me last month I was 5 days late then started. Hopefully this month it happens

Well I just took another and it was negative :( I'm gonna wait another week and if I still haven't started I'm gonna take another one.

Its def possible I took a prego test on a friday and got a neg result took another that following monday and got a positive im 8 mo prego now lol

Did you use first morning urine?  If not try again in the morning.  Sometimes certain pregnancy tests wont pick up the hcg in ur system till its much higher so you may want to get another kind of test.  First response early is a good test.  I've never got a false result with it. Good luck
