Thank you ladies((: these were all very helpful... I guess all that's left to do it get started and test this out:)
Buy the Sunday paper. Buy more than one. The coupons are good and can be doubled if the store allows. Use bargins to bounty websites to find stores that match your coupons so you save a ton. Go online and clip coupons and print them. Remember only clip coupons for items you will use otherwise it's tempting to spend money on something you Dont need just because its a "deal" and it ends up costing you.
Theres lots of groups on facebook where you can buy inserts instead of buying the whole newspaper and they also help you out with finding deals and how to get started. Also instagram type in the hashtag coupon community or key words like that. Im also trying to get started but ive read Google is your best friend.
Coupons are usually only for the expensive name brand and less healthy items. So if you were going to buy that exact item anyway, (for example, cooler ranch doritos) then a coupon would help out.
But if you are trying to put together healthy meals for less money, buying generic and fresh/whole groceries can work out better.
Buying generic brand toilet paper rather than toilet paper with a coupon that is expensive is cheaper usually.
Also, if your grocery store marks items WIC allows (Walmart does this with hot pink WIC labels) that item is cheap and healthy. So when you scan the shelves, pick the WIC stuff - they've done the numbers and food quality for you.
Lozo.com.
Type in your shopping list and it pulls up any coupons it can find for all the items
Sunday newspaper are a good way to get copons. I get mines from walmart on Sunday morning but depending on your area you might want to go to early because they do run out fast sometimes. You may also want to look at krazyladykoupon.com it helps you with where to start and will answer almost all your questions.
Coupon bug .com is one site to check out. There's coupons in your junk mail/newspaper ect.
You can save a huge amount of money when its done correctly which is why I'm trying to figure it out lol
I should look into couponing too lol.
Thank you KelleyRenee :) I really appreciate it..
Oxmbeav i think online is where most people find them.. One of my exs used to buy like two carts of stuff and pay like 100$ thats huge savings but since im now married i would feel super disrespectful texting him to ask him.. I just really want to have something to do with myself since my husband works and my son goes to school lol
Ive wondered the same thing, i dnt even see coupons around anymore tho. I think they can be found online and i know in diaper boxes and such they have coupons sometimes bt thats about all i know haha.
first depending on ur area lets u know how well coupons will work . couponing is a blessing when u have a baby.
first. always stay organized especially with exp. dates those should always be in the front.
second. if ur going to coupon in a supermarket call or visit and ask what they coupon policy is .
get anything with coupons in it look thru what ull usually get.
clip all ur coupons and organize .
when u go shoping remember the coupon policy and pay attention to any extra sales in store . calculate how many for how much with ur coupon discount.
This was someones response to this earlier.
There was a post about the same thing earlier, and it got a response on how to do it.
