I started to slowly introduce homo 3% at 1 year... then at 2 switched to 2% and now 3 drinks 1%
They tell you 12 months so baby can digest it properly. I started introducing iy at 10 months just a little at a time to.see.if my son had any problems digesting it. I had no problem getting.him off the bottle so introduced a sippy cup when I switched to homogenized milk.
I would put it in their sippy cups. Like with a meal. But be really careful for constipation. Try introducing prunes to keep things regular.
when they were about 6 months .. honestly i was raised in a farm and that was my first milk cow's milk .. back them people were lot healthier than now .. my first baby he didnt take formula and my milk wasent enough he would starve so i started giving him cows milk
almost 12 months homoginized milk. I added a bit at a time until his bottle was all just milk. I did it for a few days no reaction added more repeat :-) doctor agreed with it when I went for his 13month check up.
I strated to introduce it now an my son is 10 months he seems ok with it just waiting to see how he poops(tmi) how did yu introduce it @mamaof4410
I started introducing cow milk at 12 months. I started by offering an ounce or two in a cup or by mixing a little in their bottles with their formula or breast milk.
Honestly (and I know I will get flack for it) but I started at about 7 months. My babies were all fine. But every baby is different and I didn't consult my Dr first but they will tell you to wait until a year because a babies digestive track sometimes can't handle the milk. But my babies were already eating dinners I had made.
