drinking and breastfeeding
So i had one glass of wine and it was like 5% alcohol, how do i habe to wait to breastfeed.. my buzz is complete gone
It was not enough alcohol to worry about. I have breastfed four babies and have been nursing five years straight almost and one drink with that little alcohol I would not worry about waiting very long.
I believe when I went to a breastfeeding class the lactation consult said 2 hours for 1 beer. But my fiance is sitting beside me and he swears she said 4. But I honeslt don't know about the wine part. I would wait atleast 2 hours. Sorry I couldn't really help. Maybe speak with your pediatrician at your next appointment.
