cramps

I'm 5 weeks pregnant. I have been having cramps as if they were menestrual cramps. I have them every now and then. For a couple days Now. I haven't seen a doctor yet. Not till 8 weeks. Does anyone know what this means. It scares me because my friend said she got cramps when she had a miscarriage.

I had period like cramps early on and also sharp pains i still get occasionally . Usually its judt stretching/growing pains unless they get persistent /unbearable or accompanied by bleeding im sure there is nothing to worry about i misscarried in june and i started to bleed before i got cramps

I wouldn't worry about it. I had these very early on. Lasted until I was about 8 weeks. They didn't happen all the time spoke to my midwife about it on my next appointment, she assured me it can happen. I'd only worry if your bleeding as well.  But just to be on safe side speak to your practitioner. Congrats mummy and good luck

It could be the stressing of your uterus .. but most definetly go to the doctor bettwr safe then sorry or call your OB untill then

Just your uterus stretching and making room for the baby.
