If the mattress is already water resistant,  do I still need a pad? The mattress itself is comfortable as heck I just wanted the pad cause it was waterproff butbthe mattress is water resistant

Thanks yall! Its just I was gonna buy a mattress that wasnt water resistant  so thats why i wamted the pad but my awesome mother bought me a water resistant matters so I wanted to make sure I dont need a pad anymore :)

I think you'll be fine with just the water resistant mattress. I bought the same mattress for my first born and a year and 4 months later it still looks brand new!

I don't have one on my son's mattress because his is water proof and if he pees in the bed it wipes right up

I'm not sure if you really need it, but I got a really good brand mattress that was water resistant but still got a protector just incase. Atleast the mattress will be in better condition for alot longer
