Thanks for the advice... I wondered about those extra pieces and the added cost
Make sure you look into how much all the extra parts will cost if you are buying a convertible. The cribs themselves are not cheap and some will charge ridiculous amounts of money for the toddler half-rail and the full-size frame pieces and you might end up spending a lot more money than you planned. I spent $30 on a secondhand toddler bed when my son grew out of his crib, and the crib we got was way more affordable than a convertible.
And the $$ you save in the long run lol
I bought a convertible crib. It will go from a crib, to a toddler bed/day bed and then to a full size bed. I like how it can grow with him as he gets older
I have a 4 in 1 crib
Crib , toodler bed , day bed & full lol
I bought a convertible crib. Makes more sense to buy something you can use for years.
Which he used until he was about 3 1/2 to 4 now he has a twin
Convertible. Its nice to go from a crib to a toddler bed. You get more for your money. You'll be surprised how soon you'll need a toddler bed. My son started crawling out of the crib at a little over a year Haha scary because he's clumsy like me. I didn't have a convertible crib so I had to go buy a toddler bed.
