curious...

Okay this is for women who have already had a baby or babies. Do a majority of women get that saggy belly thing after having a baby? I call it a kangaroo pouch..lol Is it something that just happens and do you know if you are more prone to it if it's genetic or if you gain a lot of weight during pregnancy? What kind of exercises would you recommend to tighten it, just crunches? I just reallllly do not want a saggy belly lol....
Also, when did some of you ladies start getting stretch marks? I am 33 weeks and 1 day and have only noticed very few very faint ones, maybe like 3 haha which I am trying to keep up with with coco butter and tummy butter and I think I will also be getting bio oil soon. I just have a feeling I will feel extremely self conscious if i am not able to get the majority of my pre baby body back. I am actually allll belly and have only gained a little bit in my thighs and butt, thank God! lol

I had a nine pound baby, went from 125lbs to almost 170 and didn't get a single stretch mark. Cocoa butter and good hydration and staying active worked for me, then I watched my diet, kept drinking plenty of water, and breastfed for two years and went back down to 132 which was my goal weight for my height.

I had a big baby, it wasnt like he was chunky, he was 8.6 pounds, but he was long he looked like a 2 month old when he was born. I did gain a lot of weight with him about 83 pounds. I started out at 100 pounds. I did yoga about 3-4 months after he was born. Im doing prenatal yoga with my second born and will be doing yoga 3-4 months after this one is born as well. It did help a lot with getting myself back in shape.

I think a part of getting stretch marks is when a person gains weight very rapidly or like if they all of a sudden pop and of course genetics, but it looks like I won't really be taking after my sis and mom...guess we'll see lol..the lotions have been working for me for the most part.. it works for some and it doesn't work for some I think.

^^ That would make sense! I am hopefully in the clear lol..I didn't really have stomach fat pre-pregnancy due to a very fast metabolism.

I only got stretch marks on my boobs. My stomach has pretty much gone back to normal. I think it depends on how much stomach fat u had before pregnancy

It does take a while for your muscles and skin to bounce back, but they will if you stay active. Its weird, but.any sort of crunches actually are not recommended right after having a baby, the way it puts stress on the abs can make the muscles take longer to heal. Try to find a workout designed for post partum, you can get a good ab workout without crunches.
