Negative hcg blood test
Hi Everyone-I've never joined a forum/community, but I am running out of options.
In November 2013 I miscarried after finding out I was 9wks pregnant. As soon as I was cleared to try again my husband and began trying. 3 months ago we started clomid (how my 2 older children were conceived after one month), after using the fertility drug for two months and it didn't work I stopped. This is the first month that I stopped using the medication, but continued to try. Unfortunately, I got sick and in order to be sure certain medications were safe (antibiotics that is) they wanted to do a pregnancy test. I did the hcg blood test yesterday, one day before my period was due, and it came back today reading "range: negative". I have had very little spotting this morning which is not what I would expect when my period arrives since Day 1 is always very heavy.
I would just like to know if anyone has ever received a negative blood pregnancy test before but later found out they were pregnant?

It is definitely possible. Maybe get another Done or wait a few days and do a home pregnancy test.
