Short/Incompetent Cervix in Pregnancy

In Nov last year I found I had short/incompetence cervix at 20weeks preg with my 2nd preg.(1st being a miscarriage) It was to late for a stitch and I was put on progesterone 1x at night suppository.
My cervix sadly decreased from what it was as I was put in hospital on STRICT bed rest. At 25weeks+6days I went into silent labour and was fully dilated. My beautiful little girl was born a fighter and survived for a week and sadly passed away due to a infection..

I'm CURRENTLY 4-5weeks preg with my 3rd pregnancy and have been told at 10weeks I will be going into surgery for a stitch to be placed...

How successful are the stitches and how else to do I manage short cervix etc? Im so scared somethings going to go wrong but at the same time I want to do everything possible for my baby in order for he/she to survive..

I'm pretty much in the same boat!
I've had 1 miscarriage early at around 6-7weeks, And the most recent loosing my beautiful little girl a week after she was born due to an infection and prematurity. She was born at 25weeks+6days...That was a very difficult pregnancy too!

And now for the most recent! This will be a first for me having the stitch.. But I'm willing/wanting to do anything that could give me the out come me and my partner want so badly...

I've been told I will be going in to have the stitched place at 10weeks. So quite early still... But with out a doubt this will be a long VERY difficult pregnancy...

I'm just so so scared something will go wrong! The stitch wnt hold, will get infected, going into labour early, cervix being to weak/short or dropping...

So I feel your pain!! This will be a long journey for both you and I!HOPEING for both a good outcome for you and I! :)

Thankyou so much! I'm trying to stay as positive as I can... I'm not catholic, but I've been praying and crossing all fingers and toe's for this  pregnancy to be healthy, successful and in general for a good out come... One day at a time though :) Baby steps :)

Not only that,,,now I've been getting quite bad cramping and my whole muscles in my legs hurt to touch them as well as in my back a bit..But fine when I walk etc... Though no spotting... But I have had spotting in both my other pregnancy's but not at this present time.. Any thoughts?
