Try getting into a series of books. Make sure you can see some natural light during the day. Talk out loud to people call them--not just text, music, dark chocolate, turn off the TLC baby stories lol. Can someone bring a pet to visit? :)
Try and find something that will occupy ur mind like a puzzle or even a hobby like knitting it helps with depression
I've been on strict bedrest since 27wks (only 2 more days til my csection!) and depression is a common side effect my dr warned me about. My husband is at work all day and my toddler son is at my mothers during the week which is really hard but I've been keeping myself busy with online shopping for Christmas, reading some pregnancy and baby books, reading this forum, watching movies. Anything to try to keep the excitement going for our new baby :)
Try to start a hobby like reading a good book or writing in a journal. Scrapbooking is also a great way to keep your mind busy that doesn't require much physical activity. I don't know how limited you are, but if you're allowed to get up to go to a park, then getting outside can also help with depression.
Girl I haven't had a job since July. My bf just got a new job where he works 21 days on and 7 days off so im always here by myself. Im not depressed but I do get lonely and cry cause i miss him. U just have to be positive and u dont have to much longer till ur bundle of joy is here.
