desperate for sleep??

This is my second child but my pregnancy has been 100% different. I'm 36 weeks and lately I haven't been able to sleep more then an hour or so at a time because my hips hurt so bad and it even hurts to try and roll over. I've tried stretching before bed, hot showers, and three different kinds of pillows between my legs. Does anybody have anything else I could try I'm desperate for sleep!!!

In my first trimester, my doctor suggested Unisom for nausea, which is marketed as a sleep aid since it works effectively as one. I believe it is class B, which is the same as Tylenol. The dose my doctor recommended was 12.5 mg (half a pill) every 6 hours but even that dose made me sleepy so I only used it at night. Perhaps you could use it occasionally to get a good night's sleep?
