Good morning everyone - I just went for my first ultrasound today - I am 5 weeks 4 days - they saw 2 sacs - BABY A they saw a yolk sac Baby B - said is a little behind and not sure if seeing a yolk sac - I go back on 1/4 for repeat ultrasound - has this happened to anyone and was your outcome twins or just 1?

I went for my 7 week ultrasound yesterday, I have one baby measuring 7w2days with a strong heart beat
and the second baby measuing 6w6days, and they couldn't find a heartbeat
I was wondering how it turned out for you?

Wow congratulations, after 4 long years lets hope there are 2 in there for you! Double the joy if thats possible! Hope the rest of your pregnancy is healthy and happy!

so I went for my second ultrasound today - Baby A and Baby B are measuring where they should be - Baby A we heard and saw the heartbeat - Baby B dr couldn't see the hb - he said it is not uncommon at this stage in the pregnancy last week they weren't seeing baby B's yolk sac - he believes today he is seeing it - BUT - we will know for sure by 8 weeks if we are having 1 or 2.  But either way - I am HAPPY!

I totally understand what you are saying - BUT I go through fertility - I have been trying for 4 years to have a baby - so if I saw 2 today and only 1 tomorrow - I would be fine with that - I will have an ultrasound every week from 5 weeks on -

this is exactly why they do ultrasounds at 10-12 wks (in my state) not b4 bc one of the twins can disappear.,......... not to burst your bubble...... b ut thats the truth...... if a women sees twins at 5wk, comes back at 12 wk ultrasound, only one baby= depressed....... just saying how it is.............

You definitely are having twins. Ill pray both will survive.  It will not be definite that both will survive    until you go for your 6 and 8 week ultrasound. They saw my baby heartbeat at 6 weeks.
