Buy some of each, most places let you exchange unopened boxes

Just think 10 to 12 diapers a day to start with. Have you looked into cloth?

Igot pampers only. and i have 3 small pks of Nb i think its a total of 70. and someone made me a basket for my shower and it had NB pampers in it too. I have 2 big bulks of 1's a diaper cake and one Med pk of 1's. and someone bought be a bulk of 2's. I bought a bulk of wipes and 4 big refill bags. but i dont think its to important to get a over load of NB because you never know how big your baby is going to be. Plus the hospital gives you NB. I think its important to have 1-3's. and if you have off brands you can bring them back to walmart and exchange them for a better brand and a bigger size.

Well I haven't even touched my stock pile cuz baby girl is too small for newborn.. and premmie only comes in the most case 32 for right around $10. I've been through 4 cases so far and shell be 3 weeks Friday. It all depends on how fast your baby grows. I didn't buy any of these cuz I had a diaper raffle at my baby shower but I've got 3 packs of newborn, one 216 pack of size 1 and a couple smaller packs, and 3 packs of size 2 and one pack of size 3. I won't be using all of the newborn I got cuz some are off brands and I'm iffy bout those cuz I've heard so many bad things

Be careful stalking up. You don't know how fast your baby will grow. I did that and my little girl grew really fast Lol. But it was nice having enough size 1 and NB and some size 2s. Just buy a little of everything! And in my experience, the smaller size huggie, the worse they are. I used luvs and loved them. But, like I said it was just my experience. Good luck! (The dollar stores, the Family Dollar, all helped ALOT)

I didn't buy any newborn ones. Just one box of size 1 and a few more that was made into a diaper carriage for me. If I need more ill buy some but don't buy too many small ones. then I have like 3 boxes of size 2. Keep receipts so you can exchange them, or buy a reload able gift card instead of diapers and put the money you would spend on a box on the card so it's ready to go when you need t!

Where do you stay?    Try buying in bulk if you can, or pick up when they are on offer to save money.    If you have a Costco near you, they are excellent for bulk buys.      I wouldn't buy too many newborn size to begin with as you never know how big baby will be and newborn tends to only go to 11lbs.    I had one pack of 36 newborn nappies and we didn't even finish the packet.   I had a 9lb-er when he was born.    We are now in size 3 (9-20lbs) - I got a box of 192 nappies (size 3) for £18.99 which is roughly $30 (I'm in the UK), and we are halfway through them already - baby boy is only 5 weeks old x
