Yes you can have coffee. I drink a iced coffee from the drive thru every day and my babies are just fine. But 200mg a day is what they say is fine to have.
I drank coffee the whole time. I'm 40 weeks today, and my baby is actually bigger than average. Caffeine in small amounts is okay. I usually keep it to one cup of coffee (8oz), or just one glass of tea or soda. They recommend under 200mg a day. Actually, in early pregnancy, black tea or coffee helped my morning sickness.
Its been really hard to limit my coffee but you can always get decaf! And I didnt know this but starbucks can make almost anything decaf(: but also remember that coffee can cause really bad heartburn so maybe thatll help keep you away. It helped me because my heartburn has been awful!
Thank you(: my only craving is coffee :/
Try to limit your caffeine intake as too much has been associated with low birth weight and premature birth. And don't forget there is caffeine in chocolate, some soda, tea, coffee, frappes. Just be careful and try not to have it every day. And stay away from energy drinks.
I was told that you can drink like a can of soda like coke
