dilation check?

I am 36 w. 3 days and have my appt tomorrow. Will I be check tomorrow or next week? So curious to know!!

Many doctors and midwives do not check you until there are signs of labor.

I got checked at 36 weeks with no signs of labor and I'll be checked at every apt until I go into labor. Don't get your hopes up on being dialted. I was 36+3 when I got checked and was still 100% closed not effaced, thinned or anything. My next apt is tomorrow I'll be 37+3 I'm hoping I made some progress lol

Just knowing that I am dilating will make me feel so much closer to labor day! I still have 25 days to go and am so done with being pregnant

Doctors are all different about this.  Many don't check until 38 weeks if a woman is showing no signs of labor.  And it is kind of uncomfortable to be honest.  I was 1 cm for an entire month!
