ladies having or might have c-section

My baby boy is here!!!! 8lbs 9oz :-) I have to share my story with y'all. Maybe it will put your mind at ease.
It was the best it could have went. I went in and got my spinal (epidural... didn't hurt at all!) Within seconds my legs began to tingle. I told the Dr that I would really like a mirror so I could watch. ( I didn't think they would let me, just thought I'd ask) BUT HE DID! I was shocked. I laid back and they went and got a mirror. They cut me open and explained everything along the way. They finally got to lil man and got him out. Then they delivered my placenta and cleaned me up. I'm really thanking god that we went ahead with the c-section because the surgery revealed that I had a very thin plecenta and if I went through a vaginal labor It would have ruptured and ON TOP OF THAT.. I had a 2nd lobe on my plecenta that could have caused me to bleed out.
So everything happens for a reason and I am 100% sure we made the right decision on having a c-section. The staff was amazed how involved we were. I would do it all over in a heartbeat! I am so in love.

I loved my c-section experience too, I could NEVER watch it, you're brave hahah!! I think c-section can be just as great and amazing as a vaginal birth, to me it felt just as special as any vaginal birth could've. Congratulations on your baby boy!!
