distressed

so i've been kinda stressin lately. and it's because of something stupid. i mean DUMB!!! i've gotten 3 bfp's....i'm already gaining weight and showing (apparently women in my family show immediately...and grow to be about as big as the broad side of a barn and live in moomoos for 5 months....*tear*), i feel pregnant, have ALL the pregnancy symptoms still....but.....it's in my head i'm not pregnant just getting fat. did anyone else feel like this? i haven't gone to the doc yet...i'm waiting for the medicaid office to call me back since apparently being pregnant is a pre exsisting condition (as if our babies are dieseas...) but i'm hoping when i see the sonogram it sinks in...but it's rather distressing feeling like this. oh and not only am i showing but i just "look" pregnant. as grams says i have that glow....

it's not so much "feeling" pregnant b/c ohhh i do. it's just i'm not sure. i guess it just hasn't clicked in my brain that i am pregnant. as far as the medicaid goes i just have to wait till someone calls me back so i know everything. isn't it ridiculous that insurance agencies treat pregnancies like that? pre exsisting condition...sheesh!

That's right.. Medicaid will cover 3 months back.. So you can go and you might get couple of bill's but you just mail them in with your medicaid stuff and they pay for it.... Get a dr. and go... And like Joy said, get in the baby mood! :-) I know how you feel.. I was that way too when I was pregnant.

Congrats!  Broad side of a barn!  haha!  That made me giggle...I don't know anything about Medicaid but just wanted to say best wishes and congratulations!

You have to be pregnant and show proof of pregnancy to Medicaid in order to qualify and they do not treat it as a pre-existing condition, other insurances do! It just takes time for the paperwork to go through. You could go ahead and see a doc because Medicaid will cover you three months previous to the date you qualify. So if you know you will qualify, go see a doc! I can't say it will make you feel any "more pregnant" but at least you'll feel like you're doing something!

I def. know what you mean. There are actually a lot of pregnant women who just don't feel it, maybe even for months. Some ways to help you "get in the pregnancy mood":

-write up a few nursery decor ideas
-go to a baby name website and make a list of baby names you like
-make a list of "stuff to buy"
-do a baby registry (you can do them online)

Get yourself in the baby mood, hon! You might feel a little better

awwwwww.. being pregnant and having a baby is a blessing... You can always watch your food intake and after the baby is here excersise... Try to ENJOY YOUR PREGNANCY....  You want you Baby to be healthy and HAPPY and you want to be HAPPY as well.  I hae my son when I was 22 and I was very depressed afterward because I worried about things I had no control over.  Try to relax and take it easy.... GOOD LUCK!!
