do i really need swaddle blankets?
I already had my baby shower and I am trying to hurry up and get the last lil bit of things I need to stock up on or didn't get at all. So I am wanting to know if I really need swaddle blankets and also what are they used for?
I'll look at other places before I buy. But I have been to two different Ross stores and don't really find much in the baby section. I do find a lot of stuff for me though lol

As long as you have a few to get started. The hospital usually gives you one or two as well.
They are $20 at Walmart. At the store they have a two pack and online they have a 3 pack.
Well I'll get more after she is born I'm just talking about for now. I just want to make sure she has a least a few so I won't be rushed
Ross is a great place to find them if that store is where you are. Plus Wal-Mart is always reasonable in prices.
Honestly I would get more then that. Babies spit up or have diaper blow outs all the time. And you will probably have them swaddled a good part of eveyday for a while. I had about ten or so I think so I could do laundry like every other day.
Swaddling was a life saver for us! He wouldn't sleep unless he was swaddled for the first 3mths. But you really can use any season appropriate blanket.
