Actually deli meats without heating it up??? A preggo lady bought a cold ham sandwich and I thought u cant have deli meat unless its steaming hot..So thats why I'm wondering if theres any ladies out there eat cold deli meat?

Nd one more thing.is Ricola halls drops ok to take for sore throat?

And heating upthe meat it has to be heated to a certain temperature for it to kill the bacteria and if it's let get cold the bacteria will grow back is what I understand anyways.

It's all about how people treat the meat. It's basic food safe and the chances are slim you're more likely to get it from unwashed produce that deli meats. However if you were to get the bacteria called listeria it's so devastating to unborn babies which is why you're advised not to eat it. It's like eating raw eggs there's a chance of getting saminella. I have eaten a few deli sandwiches since I've been pregnant yes my baby is fine at 35 weeks tomorrow but that doesn't mean everyone's babies will be. After eating them I stressed so much that I just decided to cut them out til I have my son. It's only 9 months and I only have 36 days to go my son's health is way more important that a craving. And I am not saying ladies who eat deli meats don't think they same of their babies, I'm saying how I stressed too much that wasn't good for him and just wasn't worth it for me.

I heard cold is okay. But at places like Subway make sure it hasn't been sitting out

Yes you can hun.  I've been eating sandwiches with cold deli meat since the beginning of my pregnancy! :) I'm now 34w5d an me an my baby are perfectly fine! :D
