doc prescribed metronidazole
My doctor prescribed me metronidazole because of my yeast infection but I'm really "iffy" about taking it because I don't want to harm my baby. Have any of u guys taken metronidazole while pregnant ?
The doctor told me I had bacterial vaginosis and a yeast infection I think that's why she prescribed metronidazole and she also prescribed a cream (miconazole nitrate) I just wasn't sure if metronidazole was ok to take while pregnant. THANKS GIRLS!
I took it for bacterial vaginosis with my 2nd child and was fine but I wasnt aware that yeast infections needed such an aggressive treatment like that. My OB has always told me to use Monistat 7 for any yeast infection ive had. Is there a reason why theyre prescribing flagyl as a first option?
Yes more then once lol i had a yeast like 6 times due to alot of stress with my daughter she's 3 years old now nothing going to happen
