does anyone know?

i was watching the news awhile back when i first found out i was pregnant. in about february. they were talking about how caffiene can have major effects on your baby if you consume to much of it while pregnant. does anybody know what the effects are and how much is "too much".?

Caffeine is linked to attention problems and disorders such as autism if you consume copious amounts. Also, it can stunt growth.

One can of soda a day is fine, but pop dehydrates your body. For every one can of soda you drink you have to drink 36 ounces of water in addition to your daily water intake. So drink plenty of H2O!

i don't think you're supposed to consume more than 300mg per day.  like 1-2 8oz cups of coffee.  its most important in your 1st trimester when the risk for miscarriage4 is higher.  i'm 31wks right now and i drink one cup of coffee in the morning and one cup of coffee in the evening...  i have 3 kids all under age 5 so for me i really can't function very well w/out it.  but i didn't hardly any my 1st trimester partly b/c the smell of it made me sick!
