In may my period was late, I took a pregnancy test and got a faint positive. A few weeks later I started my period so i assumed I either had a miscarriage or I had a false positve on my the pregnancy test.  Five months later now, I was sitting on my bed after taking a test online I felt thumping in my lower abdomen. I not only felt them on the inside but on the outside as well. I made a doctors appt. and I go in a couple of days. I also bought a pregnancy test but the result was negative. So what do you think is it worms or a baby? It was not just gas I know what gas bubble feel like.

One thing missing here...have you had more periods since May?

It seems unlikely that you are pregnant with having negative hpt's, but thought I would get some clarification on the periods.

Keep your test and they might put a doppler on your stomach to see if they can detect a HB! :)

I am still going to keep my appt. for my peace of mind or I would go crazy. I really dont think its gas but then again i have been wrong before. It has happeaned like three times now in the past couple of weeks and every time it has happeaned it has been multiple little popping feelings in a row.

Yes! I suffer from IBS, and I either have trapped wind and CONTAST Gas bubbles in my stomach and I could feel them... Feels EXACTLY the same as Harry kicking...The only way I know the difference, is if I get about 5 -6 thumps in a row thats how I know it Harry

After I had my baby I had gas in my belly that I could have sworn were baby kicks. It's really easy to confuse and mix them up because they can feel identical. Spade22 is right. If you were pregnant, any test should easily be able to identify pregnancy at this point.

If you were 5 months pregnant, a HPT would give you a positive test if the test was performed correctly.  As far as I am aware, worms can not be felt internally or externally.

In all honesty the most likely cause of your symptom is gas.  Early fetal movement (around 4-6 months along in a pregnancy) is usually likened to gas.  In other words, gas and baby kicking feel so similar that it is often very difficult to distinguish between the two until the pregnancy is further along.
