dont know what to do

So I just received a call from my ob and they said I am dehydrated and need to drink more fluids. Well I kinda knew that I was dehydrated but I can't help it because everything I eat or drink I can't keep down. They also said I have a uti and are giving me meds for it later today but I am afraid to take anything because I am at higher risk. I just don't know what to do.

I agree with the Sprite...helped a lot with my morning sickness. And I am also high risk and had a UTI at 6 weeks took the medicine and I am fine, babies are healthy, and I am 13 weeks almost 14. Not taking the UTI meds may have a worse effect than taking it. An UTI can cause a miscarriage,  early labor...just talk to your doctor about the risks and tell him/her about your concerns.

You definitely need to take what they give you for the UTI because if you don't it can become VERY dangerous. Put you in labor or also develop into a problem MUCH greater. Being high risk is more of a reason to be sure to take the medicine. As far as the being dehydrated, maybe get some Gatorade? Sip on it constantly instead of taking large drinks to keep down the nausea. If that doesn't work you should probably go in to get a bag or two of fluids from the hospital.  Good luck.
