So baby is less than 2 months away and I still don't have a place for her to sleep!

I don't know what to get her! I want a co-sleeper BUT the ones I see online are too tall and my bed is not that tall at all. It's like 17 inches from ground to top (the bed spring is directly on top of the floor- warm floor btw) and then the mattress on top of it. The bed is also a full so not too much space for one of those co-sleepers that go with you in bed. So does anyone have any suggestions besides getting a cosleeper and just sewing the legs off lol

omg thats a great idea! thank you! i would too be worried about her wiggling out of it! and since we only have a full bed....and i deeeefinitely  want to sleep next to my hubby :3

Ashelen, thank you for the link! thats the perfect height, but just a little expensive :'( but only because we just got a new LCD tv today that cost us an arm and a leg lol I think we have our priorities mixed!

i don't know how much you want to spend but I came across this...it looks like it fits your height requirement. I personally would just get a bassinet.

my daughter slept in the bed with us on a co-sleeper but we have a king so it's different...i love it though. will do with this one also!

I had the same problem, but I really loved the idea of the Arms Reach cosleeper so I broke down and got a cheapo metal bedframe.  I got rid of it again when dd moved to her crib.

I'm not getting a co-sleeper or a basinet.  I'm using the basinet on the playpen until her 15lbs (which is the max weight for the basinet on the playpen).  After that, she'll probably go on her crib.  My mom had us in our bribs from the moment we were born!   I don't think I';m that brave though.  Hahaha.

hey i had one of the ones that you put in the bed, used it for a few weeks but as soon as she started to wriggle she was able to wriggle right out of it, which freaked me out because i could have rolled on her. We ended up purchasing a mattress for a cradle and found a washing basket that it fit perfectly into and put that beside me on the floor, she is in her cot now because she is too long for the basket now, but at the time was a brilliant solution

I never looked into this but my bed is set up exactly the same way box spring on floor then mattress on top.  I was wanting to get a co sleeper but now that you brought this up I'm gonna have to do some research.

If it comes out, is it tall enough if I put it on the ground? Will it reach the 17 inches?? Also, wouldn't it be weird if I put my baby so close to the ground ?? :-/

Moses basket or bassinet? The basket on a bassinet comes off.
