Ovarian Cyst & Pregnant

As you guys know I work in the same hospital were I'm going to give birth, so I just go into the system and look at my own reports and results, so yesterday for my sonogram the ultrasound lady wrote a report.  I was reading it and it said that I have a cyst in my right ovary.  A "functional cyst" and it measures 1.80 x 1.60 cm.

I tried calling my ob's office but of course they are not answering the phone.  Should I be concern? Did any of you giurls had this with your pregnancies??

greetings, I am 13 weeks pregnant with a 8.5cm functional cyst on my right ovary. My doctor recommended that we surgically remove it. I am risking miscarriage or infection. But if it were to rupture i am risking severe pain and problems later, or if it were to twist lots of bleeding. I am a believer of the lord, I prayed about it and I trust him completely. I know he makes no mistakes. I am due for surgery next week. I hope my info has been helpful. You are not the only one. I have also got a second opinion and I have been told that cyst are common in pregnancies sometimes they dissolve sometimes they don't. some people risk, the surgery some risk and wait till the baby is born for surgery. please keep me posted. I pray all goes well for you and the baby. god bless

I've heard that cysts happen while pregnancy.  Due to the surge of hormones, and they usually go away by the end of pregnancy!
