I am 21weeks and work in a salon my doctor never batted a eye at me dying peoples or my own hair.  However I tell my preggo ladies to wait till later. Also warm them that sometimes color can come out lil different when pregnant as our bodies are changing so much

Ive been getting my nails done in a hair salon the entire time ive been pregnant. My dr is fine with it as well as hair dying the entire pregnancy. Just make sure its well ventalated and it should be fine.

After the first trimester. As long as the smell doesn't make you sick it's fine. I'm okay with the smell and dye my hair in my little bathroom. Breathing in the smell of ammonia won't hurt the baby, but it can make you nauseous.

2nd trimester in a well ventilated area(outside, fan on and open windows, or if at a salon then you're pretty much good if you can't smell their products walking in)
