My doctor told me I shouldnt try getting/using one as there is no say as to what is exactly in them and there not health canada approved? Ive seen plenty of moms using them. Anyone else get a diffetent opinion from a doctor?

That is true, if you're high risk, maybe cut down slowly! But forsure try to aim for quitting. And I would just smoke regular cigarettes! E-cigs aren't studied enough to know the problems it can cause

I've never smoked but some friends have and their doctors say the same thing about stop gradually. Just like you the baby is already addicted to the nicotine and sometimes the baby handles withdrawals worse than you would

Is there anything you can do to prevent gaining so much weight while pregnant? I'm high risk but not crippled lol I wonder if exercise would help.m I didnt do any workouts at all when I quit with my first maybe that why I gained so much..

Really? See I sware my doctor is a quak!! Lol I wanted a midwife so bad but they refused me because I'm high risk and apparently where I live they don't have experience with high risk patients.. but I heard they were the best if I'm such high risk shouldnt I have the best doctor/midwife? He told me to cut down like I didlast time seeming aas it worked fine the first time and told me it was better to do it that way... I'm going to do some research and ask for another doctor if thats the case!! Thanks lol

I know:) oh I do plan on quitting i def am I quit for my first this is my second. (Wish i never started smoking again!) I'm high risk and I had to decrease and then quit the first time he wanted me to do it again in about a months time and I shall be done when I see him next in march but  I was just wondering if it were better to do it with an e-steam I heard good things but then I heard bad things.. someone on here told me they could puff on it all day at a low mg and it would be equivalent to like 2 smokes. Ive never tried it so thought id ask.. think I'll just do it the old fashion way aha it seems to be effective! I did it once I can do it again.. I just found I gained a lot of extra weight last time I quit while pregnant(like in my face arms legs etc.)

If you're a smoker, as hard as it is... Just quit! The e-cigs have been proven to actually be just as bad because of the chemicals you inhale! Just think about the baby you are giving life to inside your tummy and how you don't wanna harm him/her! It's hard, but so worth it for both health and mental factors!
