ear infection
I'll be 33 weeks tomorrow and have had a double ear infection for over 2 weeks. I had them several times last year starting this time of year and always needed the super strength prescription with steroids. Because I'm pregnant, my doc is afraid to prescribe anything other than amoxicillin, but my ears have gotten so much worse. Has anyone been able to take anything different? I'm very miserable and definitely more cranky, by don't wanna call the doc if they're only able to prescribe more amoxicillin because it's clearly not helping.
Tell your doctor it has failed u in the past. I have pneumonia and was given iv antibiotics. Amoxicillin doesn't work for me as well so I'd speak up asap.
