Sounds like it *MIGHT* be the real deal. !!!!!!!!!!!
Sit down, prop your feet up, and time your contractions. When they are about 4-7 minutes apart for an hour or more call your doctor to see what they want you to do. Do the contractions stop when you change position? When you eat/drink? Do they become more intense when you're more active? If you said yes to those than they might be BH.
But if you keep having them even when you change position or eat/drink it might be it!
When I had to time my contractions I had to place my hand on my belly to feel them at first. Then they got more painful as time went on.
i delivered a few weeks ago, i felt exactly that ...labor pain 3 to 4 days before i delivered! i delivered at 38 wks, and my baby was huge too! i tried sex and walking nothing worked,,,but i went into labor 3 days prior to delivering , it was hard,,i was in so much pain , but they didnt want to admit me at the hospital cause i was onloy 1 cm dilated !! not dilated enough to go into labor or be induced so ,,,for me it was hell ! sorry for being honest.
when i last went to the hospital, the nurse measured to see how dilated i was and broke my bag with her fingers,,,(i think she did it on purpose, she saw the pain that i was in )
and after that , they kept me in , and i tried to deliver my baby girl naturally ,, but after 5 hrs of labor, they decided on an emergency c-section cause she was too big ....!!
Have you tried to time them if possible? My cousin was in labor and she had it ALL in her back (not a pretty site...). If it gets any worse, I would go to L&D:-)
Good luck!! and I wish you a safe and (quick) labor!!
