early labor?

So my mom thinks I'm going to have my son early because of my Braxton hicks they are all the time and researching Braxton hicks it says they go away if you change position or walk..but for me it doesn't And I've been have cramps in my back and pressure in my pelvic area. It last for a few hours then goes away but then comes again. What do y'all think? I'm 28 weeks I'm going to tell my doc at my appt on Thursday which he will probably say that's normal..(like he says for everything)
