early pregnancy concerns

I have recently found out I am pregnant. How far along is still not determined. I believe I'm 6wks or more based on my last menstral cycle. However I've has an U/S and they could not find any sac. They also were not able to see any fluid indicating an ectopic pregnancy. My Dr has been monitoring my HGC levels, which are not doubling as they should be. On my first visit they were in the 2000 range, then a few days later reached 4000, then 2 days later 6000, but next they only went up to 7000. Which is when they called me back in later that day to do another U/S and still could not see any sac or fluid and the doctor and u/s tech seem baffled by this.  the Dr said with my hgc levels being that high they would normally start to see fluid if ectopic pregnancy. They did see the cyst as they normally do with pregnancy. However they now are saying that my chances for a normal pregnancy are probably around 10%. I have had no cramping, bleeding, or abdominal pain. I do feel pregnant, have had some nausea, food adversion, heart burn, fatigue. Has anyone else had a similar experience? My DR. put me on progestrone and said lets keep a close eye on me and see how it progresses. He said sometimes the sac will just finally show up. Please any stories of success would ease my worries.

I don't have any experience with this, but I have seen other woman post and sometimes they just can't find anything for up to 8 weeks and then some couldn't find the heartbeat til 10 weeks... I wouldn't be worried yet your levels are going up and they are fairly high so thats a good thing, just give it time it's possible you just ovulated later then you thought
