That was the mind set I put myself in. I have all the time in the world to lose the weight. And all of my babies were good size.

I think that you are totally fine. I know I have gained a lot during the first trimester with my first one. I was 115 lb and I didn't eat regulary, so when I found I'm pregnant I started eating better ( couple times a day) instead of just one... yeah I know it was a bad habit... plus I didn't have no morning sickness so I started gaining really quick... but u know what I really think u shouldn't worry and stress about it! U can always lose the weight after u have the baby! Mine was gone in no time...you just have to eat healthy for ur baby.

I was about 135lbs prepregnancy with all four of my babies and during each pregnancy I weighed about 185 to 192lbs on delivery day. Now my baby is 8 months and I'm at 140lbs so I'm doing good

I wouldn't worry. Your tiny so they encourage more weight gain for petite women.

It does depend on your pre pregnancy weight... my pre pregnancy weight was 118 lb and I'm 12 weeks and have gained 5 lbs! I think it is a lot, but the same thing happened with my first baby and I ended up gaining a total of 40 lbs, but I have lost it all in about 6 months...

I do not mean this in any way to offend you or anyone. But are you currently over weight? If you are talk to your of about what is the normal weight  he would want to gain at this point. Most say none until about the second trimester. But I gained ten pounds within the first 3 months. My doc said he didnt worry because I always go back to normal after delivery. I wouldn't worry but talk to your doc just to be safe. Congrats!
