Ok so when I have my son in nov it'll be 3 weeks before my 25th birthday.so ill still be 24 but I already have 3 children going on my first and I am so totally done I have heard many docs tell me I can't until im 25 but does it depend on insurance I had Kaiser and they said they would do it but now I have blue shield

In ohio , you gotta be 21 with 3 kids or 25 with 3 kids . And it depends if your doc will do it or not then . I know this girl that is bout to get hers done when she turns 21 on the 29th of this month . She has 3 kids already . But you also gotta be positive you want it done . If your doc won't do it , ask to speak to other docs .

I don't know if it's the same for guys and women but my fiance got a vesectomy and he's 23. 3 kids.

Ok I guess ill have to talk to my doctor I'm sure I want it done we have a 5 bed room and now were not going to have any spare rooms and it seems like woth every pregnancy it's more and more painful plus I don't think I can handle 5 for is enough for me

My Dr was okay with doing mine after my last baby. I'm only 24 and have 3 kids. She said I had to be 100% sure I wanted it done.

My office told me at 18 when you're "legal" to sign your own documents. Many doctors just don't want to do it in fear of regret or being sued if you decide you want another baby and can't have one so they make you wait until 25+ , 2-3+ kids.

I tried after my second and 3rd and both doctors denied cuz I wasn't 25 I have tried the iud but got pregnant and was at high risk my whole pregnancy don't wanna do that all over again

You usually have to wait until 25 but I've heard women get it sooner after having 2+ children.
