explain a cycle from start to finish

I have never been good about writting down my menstrual cycle.....I never used to have to until recently.....I skip periods all the time.....some of which I believe is stress and some is related to thyroid problems......I will have them every month for about 3 months and then I wont have one for about two....I have used progetrone and it helps but Iam trying to figure out when I may have ovulated last in relationship to when I would have concieved and I have no Idea when I ovulated....The first day of my last period was May 2nd and the first day of the period before that was March 27th to April 1st.....someone explain.....Iam so tired of always taking pregnancy test because I dont get my period

If you're concerned, see a doctor. Could be many issues including endometriosis, PCOS, and other causes for concern.

You should definitely talk to your doctor about this, it could be something that is easily regulated or something that requires medical attention (though I am hoping not!).... are you trying to get pregnant? If not, you should talk to your doctor about the different kinds of birth control pills and how they may help you regulate your cycles. If you are trying to get pregnant it's important that you take care of this issue first. Many times women have a serious medical condition that affects their fertility and can become worse if untreated. Make an appointment soon and see what your doc says.
