extreme back pain

I had extremely horrible back pain only on my left side. Is that normal ?

I just talked to my doctor about this today. For me its on my right side and it shoots down my leg whenever I move. She said its sciatica. It happens during pregnancy sometimes. You can take Tylenol for it and use a heating pad on your back but other than that there really isn't much else to do. If its extreme circumstances they can send you to a chiropractor to ease the pain. I normally take a warm shower or bath( not too hot though cuz thats not good for baby)

It's my first too and no sadly I don't. I tried heat pad, different positions, baths..no relief :(

I don't know what to do this is my first baby but the pain kills I couldn't even stand up straight. Do u know anything that can help ?

I'm 25+5and I have that same thing. My lower left side of back kills as well as my hips.
