ANY ADVICE?

WELL AS YOU MAY KNOW IVE HAD SOME PROBLEMS WITH HIGH LEVELS OF PROTEIN IN MY URINE AND A LITTLE BLOOD PRESSURE PROBLEMS... HOWEVER, MY BP HAS GONE DOWN.. MY DOCTOR THINKS THAT PREECLAMSIA MIGHT JUST BE STARTING AND IS TRYING TO WAIT AND SEE HOW I AM AT 36 WEEKS (I WILL BE 35WKS. ON FRIDAY).. AND IF THINGS ARENT WORSE AT 36 WEEKS SHE IS GOING TO TRY AND TAKE IT TO MY DUE DATE... MY QUESTION IS.. CAN I ASK HER AND SEE IF SHE CAN JUST INDUCE ME AT 36 WEEKS OR IS THAT UP TO HER? ITS JUST THAT IVE BEEN READING ALOT ON THE INTERNET AND I DONT WANT TO WAIT FOR IT TO BE TOO LATE... ANY ANSWERS PLEASE?

i had bad preeclampsia when i was pregnant i gave birth at 37 weeks the doctors were worried about lung development, everything worked out fine, the closer to 40weeks you get the better but you def dont want to put any undue stress on you and your baby, i'dask your ob/gyn as well, lots of luck to

It sounds as though they are monitoring you closely, so that's a plus....If you BP is under control I wouldn't think that they would induce, as the longer you carry, the healthier the baby will be (Not that it wouldn't be healthy at 36 weeks, but more developed I should say).......Like hopefulmommy said though, it certainly can't hurt to ask.....Lots of luck in the upcoming weeks and on the BIG DAY!

As long as you are doing fine, I'm sure she will try to make it until 37 weeks (full term), but that is closer than 40 weeks.  Good luck.  I also had this problem with my son, I ended up delivering at 40 weeks 6 days - I was miserable!

I would ask her anyways. It never hurts to ask and the worst she can say is no, right?
