Now what? I know I have to go back and take the 3 hour test which is scheduled for the 22nd of this month! I got a 144 and to pass its supposed to be no higher than a 135. So what happens till I test again? And what if I fail again? This is my second pregnancy! First one didn't have this issue. Has one failed by ten points then pass the 3 hour test?! Im nervous as all get out now! Im 25w1d

The drink for the 3 hour one is way worse then thr one for the 1 hour one. I failed my 3 hour one so I have gestational diabetes,  which just means for the remander of the pregnancy I cant have a lot of sugar or carbohydrates. But the minute the baby pops ojt I can eat what I want. Its not too bad, the worst is the last week where you are just too tired of being pregnant to care lol.

Make sure you do not throw up after you drink the sugar stuff. If you do you have to do ot again another day

Out of women who fail the 1 hour test I believe only 1 in 3 will fail the 3 hour test. You failed by a small margin, so I'm betting you will pass your 3 hour. My sister scored in the 160 range and passed her 3 hour no problem.

The lady who did my test was freaking out. She made it seem really bad that I was off by 9 points

Since you only failed by a few points so chances are you'll pass the 3 hour. If u fail then u meet w dietitian and then tedt ur blood sugar levels w diabetic machine several times a day.

My dr just goes straight to the 3hr test as its more accurate. I believe a lot of people fail the I hr one. Try not to stress!
