fasting and pregnancy

2nd day of fasting and its going super great.i feel like my normal usual fasts before pregnancy.i pray it continues the same.

Baby is NOT at any risk as long as it's not all day for multiple days. I fasted at 15/16 wks. I didn't eat until 12 and doctor said baby was perfectly fine and I'm 30 wks as of today.

Ramadan is an Islamic month with has fallen this month this year which mean all Muslims fasts through out.. its not compulsory on a pregnant women but if she feels health enough to then that's great...

I get that it is a religious choice...but that does put your baby and yourself at risk. Pregnancy is not the time to decide to stop eating. It gets it's nutrients from you....

So long as you eat well n healthy there is no harm in fasting if you feel you can do it.im enjoying every minute of it.

I am not fasting this day I feel worse than the dsy beffore which I was fasting in so I will try to fast tomorrow   ان شاء الله

That's great that you are able to do it! Are you a ftm? I should try as well, but I have a 2 1/2 year old that is really active.
It's Ramandan that's why she's fasting. Pregnant women don't have to fast during this time, but it's a choice.

Y are u fasting?  If for ur religion I believe pregnancy can exempt u from it
