Just curious

As FTM I don't know the actual pain in labour. I just heard from few mom's that the pain is like cramp monthly periods. So plz share who has some experience before in labour and is will prepare as per that.

Im on my 3rd pregnancy. My past two started out with mild cramps like same as period cramps then once i got to about 3 cm dilated, the cramps got more and more severe. Best way to describe the pain is very bad menstrual cramps. Ive learned that svreaming doesnt help like i did with my first lol with my second, deep breaths really helped me get through the contractions. Good luck!:)

You need to know to be able to focus and breath through those contractions.  It's not bad at all.  And yes, it is like period cramps at first.  My 2nd baby labor was over 18 hours.  I started out so strong and ready to do it totally natural.  I got tired at the final hours and was worried I wouldn't be able to push when they said to.  Our bodies are amazing.  I did it.  And once you hear that baby cry, all that work is forgotten.  It's unexplainable.   The highest high I have ever experienced.
