So I'm just wondering has anyone had experience with fenugreek for breastfeeding? Does it really work to get your milk supply up?

Will definitely keep u updated I took six 610mg capsules yesterday and I leaked milk literally just and I been having to top up my baby with sma and I fed him after taking it and he didn't want sma afterwards that was only hours after. I also pump inbetween feeds to boost up my supply. I heard a pint of Guinness stout works wonders. Or oatmeal. But so far I'm gunna stick to pumping and fenugreek see how that works. I drank mothers milk tea and my supply doubled.

I sm using it right now. i had problems with my milk coming in, it took six days, then when it did come it i had a really crappy supply. started taking the fenugreek and noticed a significant increase almost immediatly. it said it was supposed to take upwards of 72 hours to notice a difference but i swear it was way faster than that.

I've heard that happens to a LOT of women!! Haha! Let me know if it works for you, I could really use a boost during growth spurts.

Lol I read up that mothers milk tea tastes nice glad I didn't buy that,  I now smell like maple syrup tho from fenugreek lmao.

I haven't tried it, but I have tried the mothers milk tea, that contains fenugreek. It's so terrible I can't really get down the recommended amount so I don't know if it works or not, haha. I've heard it works for a LOT of women in the pill form though. I almost think someone told me you have to take blessed thistle with it too? I'm not sure about that though! There's a breastfeeding forum too, a lot of women on there use fenugreek so you might get more answers there!
