iv been tryinh to conceive 4 nerly a year, with no luck!! i have had scans to see whats wrong as my periods are not regular, i have been told i have polycystic overies and sumthing is wrong with my insuline in take! i have been told i might have to go in a drug called metfrmin to regulate my periods and help my insuline in take!! is there n e one on this site in the same postiton with n e advise????? thanks x xx

Yep - there are so many of us out there with PCOS. I tried metaforim, but it made me more sick than helped. I stopped taking it, lost weight and ttc for a year with no luck. I Finally got a new dr, did clomid for a round, Took a break from it, did an hsg test and now I am about 9 weeks preggo. It's possible for it to happen. Each person just has to find the right cocktail for them!  Good luck and keep trying! :)

yeh i feel your pain girl. me and my husband have been trying over a year. its hard to track when im ovulating cause im irregular as it is. right now im having probs trying to figure out why im bleeding 12 days till my next period. im just ready to start a family. so i guess i should go to a dr and ask to be on clomid?

I have psco too.. I have been on metformin forever... It helps alot It makes me have my period every month.. and when I was to get preg he puts me on clomid.. So I take metformin & clomid when Im trying to get preg.. I have 5 kids so i know its works... Good luck !!
