fetal hiccups

I'm 32wks and a FTM and my son has hiccups quite often and was wondering if its normal? I read somewhere that it could be a sign of the umbilical cord could be wrapped around the neck? It occurs after I eat sometimes and then sometimes he just gets them out of the blue. I am the type to worry a lot but im just wondering if anyone else's baby had hiccups a lot?

Mine to!! She hiccups alot and I've counted it once it was like 52 times! But I told me doc and she said is perfectly normal and actually good Cuz its preparing her for the outside world breathing and in was out on the monitor and at the same time her hiccups we could see her lungs function so I was happy she is breathing already! In 32 weeks

My daughter has hiccups ALL the time and it lasts for a pretty long time. But yeah, it doesn't hurt or annoy them like it does us. And yes, they do practice breathing ;) its really freaking cool if you can feel it. If you know how an infant breathes, how they breathe pretty fast. Its them moving their diaphragm and stuff, practicing but not actually breathing yet. Its really cool! I actually felt it earlier (I'm 39+5) and had my mom feel it and she flipped out she was so excited.
