Oh peaches.. im sorry to hear that.. luckily were not behind on bills but its stressful. And the fear that we might be behind n that. And he got a job offer. 500 a week but its crazy hours. 12hour shifts. So hes hesitant about it because he says hes going to miss out on a lot of things with the pregnancy and when the baby is born
Ok i think i will. Until he gets situated and can get a Good job.
Me and my boyfriend both recently lost our jobs and our bills are about 2 months behind. And im 3 montha .Believe me i feel ur pain
your husband cannot receive help but you sure can. Because you have nothing to do with it. I receive foodstamps and Medicaid, my husband is not on the insurance and does not have a bridge card.
My husbands legal status is questionable but he still has two very good jobs, your hubby should try being a cook at a restaurant. Also foodstamps doesn't interfere with his status I receive it and so do the people I know. So you should try it out.
Um your the only one who could apply for food stamps since your a U.S. citizen. So just got to your local office and apply for yourself and your child. You don't have to put any of his information, hope this helps you out!
He hasn ITIN. It allows him to work and do his taxes. And we are working on his status. And yea we have wic already. I dont want to get foodstamps because it interferes with getting him nationalized.
U can try applying to foodstamps and wic it helps a lot.. wic gives u free checks to buy certain foods and foodstamps gives u like almost a debit card and u go to the store and buy food so that might help u guys out with less stuff u need to buy goodluck
Sounds like you need to work on his status to get him legal. Other than that all he can do is work another crappy job to make up the difference. How is he even working at all if he isn't legal? Look for help within your community.
It's not much but you can apply for families first and they give you a certain amount of money a month to buy diapers and stuff like that if you qualify.
