financial stress

How do you young mom's not stress about finances? I'm working minimum wage in WA state and idk how I'm gonna afford my child. Is there any way to get low cost diapers and other baby needs OTHER than hand me downs or cheapo things? I just want my child to live a better life than I. I mean, it's not their fault I brought them into this world without having some high paying job. I never went to college, I had to work. My parents couldn't afford to help me once I was old enough to work. Any advice on how not to stress about it? Sorry about the venting.

Just keep doing your best. If you can try to put a little money away after each paycheck so you can save some up in case of emergencies which is the most important thing to have if you need it when you have a child.
You can use that money for food or other things you may need that you wouldnt be able to get if you didnt have saved money.
Also baby clothes are hard to get brand new at low cost.all my babies clothes came from people in a church who go to stores, buy the clothes, and gives them away. They also collect clothes from moms who arent using them anymore but they leave out the soiled clothes.
Babies are small for inly a short time so there's really no need to get a whole lot of expensive brand bew clothes.
Second hand doesnt hurt and babies dont care about fashion. So try reaching out to churchs or organizations dedicated to helping women get what they need.
Ive also gotten second hand cribs for 1/4 the price at yard sales that are basically brand new. Like I said babies are small only for a short time so things like cribs or clothes dont necessarily get all worn out.
Also getting insurance is important. They can provide a breast pump (which is free food, but in the other hand it makes baby poop more so youre spending more on diapers) but also there is WIC. They provide you food, I recently got that. Very helpful and if you choose to formula feed they give you 75 percent of what you need, while you pay the 15 percebt they dont provide but that obviously saves a lot of money.
The only way I see you saving in diapers is spending a lotttt of money on cloth diapers which are about 5 dollars a piece. They are truly great to save money but you gotta wash them :/ but they also are adjustable and can be used into toddler years as well.
You chose to have a baby on low income, so in order to servive you pretty much gotta do second hand and use government services to get by.
Im 15 so I know tge struggle lol.
But I commend you for doing the right thing and seeing this pregnancy through and choosing to keep your baby despite your not so great circumstances
