Are the hpt you get at the dollar store just as accurate as the more expensive ones ? This is our first month ttc and I am 3 days late for af took a dollar store one and it is positive.  Just don't want to get my hopes up if its a false positive.

I used the dollar store ones but they never worked for me esp when I was trying to see if I was pregnant back in September. I had used one cheap one and it came up negative but with the more expensive one it came up positive 5 times (I needed to make sure the other 4 weren't lying).
