first pregnancy

I am 13wks pregnant and am likely to over worry due to losing my first to a miscarrige. I just have a couple of questions regarding my poor old body. My Mum lives on the other side of the world so i have knowone to talk to about things that are going on.

I have an awful lot of discomfort right below my breasts like evrything is just to tight and my tummy in the evennings gets very bloated and rock hard regardless of what I eat.( Although my diet has not been the best leading up to this point due to morning sickness.) Is this quite a common thing or should I speak to my midwife or doctor about it?

I am in no pain just total discomfort like I need to get something out but have no idea what it is. I am not a very big person so the size of my tummy worries me, I worry that I am getting fat rather than being baby bump but as my husband pointed out I probly dont eat enough to get fat.

I am sure this all sounds crazy but I really have no clue so any advice would be greatful.

It doesn't hurt to mention it to your midwife but I think it all sounds pretty common. Maybe you are having even a little bit of constipation? Try drinking some good fluids and extra vitamin B helps with morning sickness!
And you're at that awkward stage where you don't have a noticeable bump but are probably a little pudgy....it's the worst! It'll get a lot better once you're belly gets rounder and random people will recognize that you're having a baby!

Feel free to mention it to your midwife or dr, that is what they are there for :) but also know you can come over here and ask questions anytime. There are so many wonderful ladies on here and nothing is TMI or gross for this site with pregnancy we often talk about bleeding or poop because thats what comes with the territory ;)

As for your tummy it sounds normal. I don't think it's that you are fat though you may feel fat, I know I do!  Don't worry about weight gain just listen to your body, eat when you are hungry. If you have morning sickness they say eat whatever you can keep down, worry about healthy eating once all food stays down. I know potatoes were the only thing that stayed down in my first trimester I ate a lot of French fries lol after four months when the puking stopped I could eat fruit, veggies and all the good stuff :)

Feel better and don't worry about your tummy, bloating and water retention is so normal
