Headaches

I'm a ftm 15 weeks 5 days pregnant. I know that headaches are a symptom this week and for the weeks ahead however does anybody have any suggestions on how to try and prevent them? I've had a headache non stop for 5 days now. I've been taking the maximum dose of ibuprofen that I can take each day and drinking loads of water yet nothing seems to work. :(

I take cool showers or place a cold towel on my head for about twenty mins. Caffeine can also help headaches in small doses. Half a soda or a bar of chocolate.

Yea I wouldn't worry too much about having taken it. There are a million things you never realize you can't take! I was taking vitamins that I shouldn't have at one point as I didn't know and I'm at 39 weeks with no complications :) hope you feel better!

thanks :) I've just read up about not taking ibuprofen, I was never told not to take it. Now that I'm aware though i won't use it, it said it should be okay as I haven't used it in the first 3 months thankfully.
I'm just going to continue drinking water and hopefully it will go :(

I was told not to take ibuprofen at all during pregnancy. Lots of water, keep hydrated! And make sure to contact your doctor if they continue as he might have something better you can take!

Well when it happened to me I stepped outside to somewhere quiet and took deep breaths. Tylenol is crap and it doesnt work so just try relaxation techniques.
