The pills work great for fleas. Also please stop using dawn it takes all the good oils out of thier skin leaving it dry and more prone to fleas and dry flaky skin use a simple cheap baby shampoo it works wonders my vet actually told me this when all my cats had fleas and I was using dawn ... Also this may sound nuts but buy some salt sprinkle it in your carpet and the sharp edges cut the fleas and kill them... also buy a pan fill with water and put a tea light in the middle and the fleas are drawn to the warmth and when they go to it they will remain in the water ... ( sounds crazy but it works) I have a pest control place that sprays my house every 3 months it does cost $65 but they spray for roaches, fleas, spiders, and will put traps out for rats and the spray inside and outside for ants also... And its safe for animals and humans your don't have to leave your house .... If all else fails use the pest bombs al Walmart and make sure u remove all animals and yourself then air the place out good luck I hated when I had fleas it drove me nuts when they started feeding on me :(

The comfortis you can buy through a vet or online. I pay $66 for a yr supply. It's only 2 pills but they last 6mths each. It's worth every penny to me. Since you live in am apartment you could say something to your manager. I have no idea how much am exterminator costs. But like I said its not your dogs its somthing they lay on or use a lot that they keep getting these fleas from. If you bathe them a lot and stuff they should do away. Flea collars don't really work in my opinion.  Does anyone else in the apartment have pets with fleas or having a repeated flea problem?

Frontline lasts about a month then you usually have to reapply it. You can sometimes buy it cheaper online. I would suggest wash your dogs dry them thoroughly then use frontline on them. Don't wash them after you use frontline because it will was it off.

Should like you might have to bomb your house. You would have to hire an exterminator to do it and leave your house for like 4 hrs. My family had to do this a few yrs ago. And if you have carpet that makes the fleas worse cuz that's where they nest and stuff. Also it could be your yard if you have one and they use it. It's not the dogs its either your house or an outdoor area that they are comming from. Comfortis is a 6mth flea pill for dogs. Works great little $.
