also for the dress up party. Little girls want to dress up like princesses. sofia, Rapunzel, cinderella, and ariel.
when you see princesses you see big poofy dresses high heels the hair's done.

One woman quite far up stated she puts lip gloss on her baby and her husband hates it. But that makes her husband a weirdo. Lip gloss is bought on the cosmetics counter. Therefore it is makeup. A baby can't even express that they want to wear lip gloss so that particular mum is doing it for her own joy. Though I don't know what joy you get out of putting make up on a baby

Lucymarie1991 I am not only talking to you.
I wouldn't care if president Obama agreed with you.
People don't put make up on their babies over here. Get over that. People do tho paint their child's nails at all ages.
It's common over here.
I truly don't care what you all do over in the uk.  EVERY country is different lol

I have been to America. Didn't see any babies wearing make up and nail polish while I was there. Ijust said iI had never seen a child under the age of 3 wear nail polish.
I won't be putting nail polish and lipgloss on my baby girl. I also won't be dressing her in big frilly dresses, putting big massive bows on her head.
I plan on dressing my daughter similar to how I dress myself, but very age appropriate. I didn't bash anyone. I said I didn't agree. And quite a few people agreed with me.

Lol, @PaytonFaith I'm sure you've missed these posts where they'll bash or judge us for whatever we decide! Btw, how's your lo doing? ;)

Also, in response to your post I don't see anything wrong with a little nail polish now and then.  My soon to be 10 yr old and 6 yr old love playing dress up and wearing princess dresses,  lip gloss,  and nail polish.  I don't let them do it because of course I've taught them that they're beautiful without it. Enjoy your baby girl and everything that comes with. My oldest will be getting her first mani - pedi this weekend with me and that's a mother daughter moment I wouldn't miss! ^__^
